100 Things to do before you Die (bucket list)
I love the MTV show "The Buried Life".
It's a documentary series following 4 guys trying to complete a list of 100 things to do before they die. Everytime they complete something on their list, they help a stranger reach a goal.
The Buried Life is not just the name of their show, its also the name of their multimedia company.
Here's an excerpt from their official website:
"The name comes from a poem written by Matthew Arnold in 1852. The idea is that day-to-day stuff can sometimes bury you and make you forget what you’re passionate about in your life. Jonnie read it in English class and showed it to the rest of the team who agreed that it’s message was totally in line with how we were feelin. The question “What do you want to do before you die?” became our tool to ‘uncover’ goals & dreams. You dig?
Here are the lines from Arnold’s poem: But often, in the world’s most crowded streets, But often, in the din of strife, There rises an unspeakable desire After the knowledge of our buried life;"
I love the idea of creating a Bucket List... I love the idea sooo much that I've started one.
One thing on my list is to perform a song with Tenacious D... I really hope to accomplish that!!!
So... what do you want to do before you die?
